iWL Wins Spirit Award at The Utah 100 Event

inWhatLanguage was a little disruptive at this years Utah 100

Salt Lake City, Utah – October 16, 2017 – inWhatLanguage, a local language services and technology provider, received the coveted Spirit Award at this year’s Utah’s 100 Fastest Growing Companies event.

Cody Broderick, CEO at inWhatLanguage, pulled out all the stops to beat the longstanding spirit champion, ExecuTech. In addition to their usual green pants and blue shirts, inWhatLanguage attendees also implemented a Star Wars theme.

Chewbacca and a Jedi mingled with the other attendees throughout the event. Chewy also went on stage to accept their award with Broderick, and lifted Utah Governor Gary Herbert off the ground in celebration.

“Chewy travelled a long way to get here,” said Broderick. “And he really only trusts inWhatLanguage to get all his translations done correctly.”

inWhatLanguage was recognized as the 56 fastest growing company in Utah this year. When they attended last year, they ranked 13 among the other companies.

The size of the overall global language industry in 2016 is estimated at $40 billion, according to the Globalization and Localization Association. The projected growth rate is about seven percent annually through 2018.

“We have a great company culture and we know how to disrupt global markets with our technology and services,” said Broderick.
